 After a few days acclimating in Romania, Sam, Asher and the YWAM team took 22 hour bus ride from Romania into Ukraine. The team have now been working for the past 4 days. The goal has been to build 100 emergency shelters in ten days for families who have lost their homes as a result of the war. With winter coming, 10's of 1000's of people are at risk of dying of exposure. As they are building they are hearing harrowing stories of peoples experiences of the last few months, and how they went from living a normal life to loosing everything, many including family members. With the construction of the Emergency shelters we are hoping that it will give the families a landing place that is warm and dry as they begin to rebuild their lives.The team are working hard and each shelter only takes a few hours to put together, so they getting a few built each day. They currently have funding for about 80 shelters.  Thank you for your generous gifts.
