It's been a crazy week so far. We landed in England a week ago and haven't stopped yet.
After having a day to recover, we were straight up to Newcastle to stay with our friends, Ally & Rosie. Our Church were holding an Olympic outreach mission week, so we got involved with that as much as we could. On Saturday our church arranged a big community fun day. 100s of people from our local community in Killingworth came to be part of the fun. Sam was busy painting kids faces for much of the day, while Jacob and his band!! were performing on the outdoor stage. On Saturday night it was back down to Rotherham for Sam's brother Chris, 30th birthday party. Them preaching on Sunday Morning at Rother Valley Church in Sheffield.
This week we get to relax a little. Then on Thursday we head down to YWAM Harpenden, then on to Swindon to speak at Rodbourne Cheney Baptist Church on Sunday. It's been a busy week, but lot of fun. We even managed to sneak in an Olympic event. Mexico vs South Korea at St James's Park. Just a quick reminder, in just a few hours we leave for our big trip to the UK. We have so many bags, i think we need to charter our own plane!!!We want to make sure we can catch up with as many people as possible, so please let us know if you'd like to catch up. Wave Goodbye I've never want to use my mailing list to promote 3rd party items, but i decided for my son i'd make an exception... Over the past few months, in our spare time, me and Jacob have been working hard in our makeshift studio in our home to capture 10 songs telling the stories of the past few years of his life. The album is a great demo of his songwriting ability and musicianship. As you know, Jacob is about to leave for Manchester to join the Genetik training with The Message trust, All proceeds of the sales of the album will go towards funding his school. You can make donations and check out his Blog at jacobsjourney.net. Every donation of $50 or more will automatically recieve a copy of the album. To hear and read about the songs, you can go to wavegoodbye.me Thanks for interest in our family. im sure you will enjoy the music. |
