It Is Finished... 11/09/2011
4 years of Paperwork, lawyers visits, government offices and massive amounts of frustration. Finally the day has come. Today we received birth certificates for our babies. From today Micah and Tianna are officially our children. They have new birth certificates with our names on them as their parents. It is official. Its a strange feeling having taken so long. Somedays it seamed like it was never going happen. We visited the Registrar Civil (Registry Office) today and along with our good friends as witnesses Oscar & Bigtha we signed the final forms to ratify the adoption. Its been a long, hard and stressful journey, but finally we are there. We thank you for all your prayers and gifts over the past years. We couldn't have done it without the support of our friends. At the Registry Office with our friends Bigtha & Oscar, who came along to be our witnesses as we finalized the adoption process. 2 Comments Adoption Update 11/03/2010
![]() You may remember us mentioning the abundance of children being adopted by the staff in our ministry. It is such a privaledge to see. They came back with the news that they have 2 children for them. David, age 2 and Mya, age 4. The weekend was spent frantically getting the house ready. Furniture, beds, clothes, toys etc... They have started their visits with them and hopefully next week they will be coming home to stay. Their lives transformed forever... It's funny how the strangest things can seam like they're contagious. We have good friends who run a YWAM location over in Conneticut. Over the years MANY of the families in that ministry have adopted children from all over the world. It is also partly through their influence, that we started to look at adoption. ![]() With our adoption of Micah & Tianna now nearly 3 years into the process, the end is nearly in sight, We now have our own spout of families pursuing adoptions here in Mexico. Currently we have 3 other families in the process of adopting Mexican children. One family from our San Diego office are adopting a 10 year old girl from Juarez. Our Neighbours Steve & Gemma are adopting through DIF in Ensenada, and Tammy & Eddie are pusuing the adoption of young Esthela. The Girl they helped get through a Kidney transplant 2 years ago. Who now needs another one. Here is a video of their story... Please be praying for us and the other families as we fight to do justice, and give these children no less than they deserve; the love of a Mum & Dad. If you want to know more about any of the stories, or would like to help in any way, Then please GET IN TOUCH Warning, don't come too close, or you may catch the adoption vibe too... | CategoriesAll ArchivesDecember 2011 Newsletters
